Mercury High Performance Gear Lube

For gearboxes of all Mercury Mercruiser sterndrives and all outboard lower gears. The use of any other gear lubricant in Mercury drive mechanisms could have an adverse effect on the duration of the gear.

Do not use this product for OMC electric gear cases.

Mercury High Performance Gear Lube is an exclusive formula designed to provide maximum protection and extend gear life under extreme conditions, including high speed and high horsepower.

Contains:

• Improved emulsifiers for protection of gears in the event of water entering the gearbox.
• Sticking agents improving the adhesion of the oil film to gears and internal components.
• Extreme pressure additives for the protection of gears against metal-to-metal contact and excessive wear.
• Changing the lubricant annually (before wintering) or every 100 hours of operation under normal use (50 hours in seawater) is recommended. Please refer to the owner’s manual.
